"How to make a Rosette"

A rosette may be used to decorate an assortment of different craft projects, as well as for gift wrapping.

Finish off a crochet hanger by attaching one or two at the base of the hook.

This type of flower may be used to decorate the front of a sweater or a baby’s blanket or hat. Lady’s hats, scarves, and beanies are other ideas, as well as adult’s slippers, and children's slippers.

They are cute and fast to make, and you can use up small scraps of nylon crochet ribbon that would otherwise be discarded.

The flower shown above is made from nylon crochet ribbon, however satin ribbon is suitable as well.
