"Christmas Napkin Holder" This Santa napkin holder will impress your friends at your Christmas party. He is fast and easy to make and adds a great personal touch to your Christmas Décor. How to make a Napkin Holder Materials: Main Color - 20g ball 8ply white yarn, small piece flesh colored felt, 3.50mm crochet hook, 3 beads. Measurements: Approximately 9.25cm [3.75ins] high, approximately 9.25cm [3.75ins] wide. Tension: First 3 rows – approximately 3.5cm [1.5ins] Stitches: Treble, Chain, Double crochet, slip stitch, increase. Begin by working 18ch. 1st Row: Work 1tr into 3rd ch from hook, 1tr in each ch to end. Turn. 2nd Row: Work 3ch, inc, 1tr in each of next 11tr, inc. Turn. 3rd Row: Work 3ch, inc, 1tr in each of next 13tr, inc. Turn. 4th Row: Ss across next 4 sts, 12ch, miss 8tr, 1ss into next tr. Turn. 5th Row: Work 1dc in same place as ss, [4tr, 1dc] 5 times into loop. Turn. 6th Row: Work [5ch, 1dc in dc] 5 times. Turn. 7th Row: Work [4tr into loop, 1dc in dc] 5 times. Turn. 8th Row: Work as 6th row. 9th Row: Work as 7th row. Fasten off. Cut a piece of felt approximately 5cm [2in wide], and 3.5cm [1.5ins] wide. Using craft glue, attach beads in place for eyes and nose. With right side of work facing, place face behind work so that eyes and mouth show through space. Hold in place with craft glue or by hand sewing. Fold edges of 1st 3 rows towards back. Using darning needle and yarn, sew edges of 1st three rows together.
