"Crochet Pattern for Galah Puppet "

Anyone who’s owned or had contact with a galah knows they are the perfect subject for a crochet pattern for puppet.

Full of fun and mischief and with a big dose of arrogance thrown in, they will entertain and show off for their audience whenever they get the chance. Talking, dancing, and laughing along with their countless other antics and attitude make them a ton of fun. Just the look of a galah with it’s crest raised inspires laughter.

My pet bird,"George", is pictured above. Cute isn't he? He was the inspiration for this hand puppet crochet pattern. Don't be fooled by the innocent look! There's a devious mind lurking underneath those pretty pink feathers.

This crochet pattern for puppet will give a lot of pleasure to babies and small children. Whether the child is the operator of the galah toy or the audience, they will be happily entertained.

My crochet pattern for puppet is worked in synthetic yarn so is easily laundered and will keep it’s shape for a long time.

You can use buttons for eyes, or buy plastic eyes from your craft shop, or even crochet or embroider them on. I happened to have a couple of small metal baubles that used to hang off a belt, so I made use of them.
