"Free crochet doily pattern
- flat pansy motif"

My free crochet doily pattern gives clear instructions on how to crochet pansy doily. The flat flower motifs used are simple to make and don’t require a lot of crochet thread.

If you would like to make a large centerpiece for a table or dresser, or lace doilies, matching them to your soft furnishings, my free crochet doily pattern is just the thing. The flower name - pansy motifs may be worked in any color thread you desire, and you can edge them in dark brown as I have done [to match my mother’s curtains], black, or green. All of these edge colors will accentuate the purple flower beautifully.

My free crochet doily pattern is designed to be placed under a decorative vase of silk flowers on a timber dining table. This is why the center is flat, and the flat pansy motifs are positioned to be seen around the base of the vase. The silk arrangement in the vase is mauve, as are the blooms in the curtains. This is why I chose to make my pansy motifs mauve.
