"Baby Crochet Hanger Pattern"

This crochet hanger pattern is soft and delicate looking. Worked in white and yellow ribbon, it is ideal for baby clothes.

Delicate knitted and crocheted baby clothes will be safely stored on this pretty hanger. This is a very functional baby gift.

A beginner will easily master this crochet hanger pattern. It is worked in two very basic stitches and consists of only 10 rows from start to finish.

It is finished with a bow fastened at the base of the hook. The hook is covered with white plastic tubing. This may be purchased from a craft shop.

This crochet hanger pattern is fed directly onto the hanger. If you would like a more padded effect, you can cover your coat hanger with fabric first, however if you do this you will have to adjust the pattern by working 1 or 2 extra rows to make it fit.

Covering the hanger in fabric is simple. Cut a fairly wide strip of cloth. Something with a little bit of stretch in it is best. Place the end of the strip over one end of the hanger and wind the strip over the end and along the hanger. Secure the other end with a few stitches using a needle and thread.

Don’t worry about tension too much, the finished cover is stretched to fit the hanger.
