My free baby booties crochet pattern is worked in 100% nylon baby yarn, using a 2.50mm crochet hook. The pattern gives stitch numbers in three sizes. Busy babies keep going all day through and as your little person grows, he/she will quickly grow out of newborn sizes.
Booties can be worn alone, or over jumpsuits for extra warmth, They are a very cute addition to any baby outfit.
Sole Measurement: Approximately 9.5cm for smallest size bootie.

SHELL EDGED BABY BOOTIES
Work 17 [29,23]ch loosely. 1st Round: Work 3tr into 4th ch from hook. 1tr in each of next 1[2,3] ch, 1htr in next ch, 1dc in each of next 2ch, 1htr in next ch, 1tr in each of next 3ch, 1dtr in each of next 4[6,8] ch, 9dtr in last ch. Continue along other side of ch, working 1dtr in each of next 4[6,8] ch, 1tr in each of next 3ch, 1htr in next ch, 1dc in each of next 2ch, 1htr in next ch, 1tr in each of next 1[2,3] ch, 3tr in next ch, ss into 3rd of initial 3ch. 2nd Round: 3ch, 2tr into next tr, 1tr in next st, 2tr in next st, 1tr in next 12[15,18] sts, [2tr in next st, 1tr in next st] 4 times, 2tr in next st, 1tr in each of next 12[15,18] sts, [2tr in next st, 1tr in next st] twice, ss in 3rd of initial 3ch. 50[56,62] sts. 3rd Round: 3ch, 1tr into back loop of each st to end, ss in 3rd of initial 3ch. 4th Round: 3ch, 1tr in each st to end. Ss into 3rd of initial 3ch. 5th Round: Repeat 4th round. 6th Round: 3ch, 1tr into each of next 30[33,36] tr, miss next st, ss over next 2sts. Turn booty. 7th Round: Miss 2ss, 1tr in each of next 8sts, miss next st, ss over next 2sts. Turn booty. 8th – 11th Round: Repeat 7th round. 12th Round: Miss 2ss, 1tr in each st to end. Join with a ss into 3rd of 3ch. 32[38,44] sts. 13th Round: 3ch, 1tr in each of next 7[10,10] tr, *2tr in next st, 1tr in each of next 7[8,10] sts, Repeat from * to end, ss into 3rd of initial 3ch. 36[42,48] sts. 14th Round: 1dc in same place as ss, *2ch 1dc in next st, 3ch, miss 1 stitch, 1dc in next st, Repeat from * finishing with 2ch, 1htr into 1st dc. 15th Round: 1dc into sp below hook, *3ch, 1dc into next loop. Repeat from * finishing with 1ch, 1htr into 1st dc. 16th Round: 3ch, 1tr, 1htr, 1dc in 1st loop * 1dc into next lp, into next lp work 1dc, 1htr, 3tr, 1htr, 1dc. Repeat from * finishing with [1dc, 1htr, 1tr, ss in 3rd of initial 3ch] into 1st loop. Finish off.
