"Bag Crochet"

Crocheting your own bag is a very practical and often necessary thing to do.

Finding the right size, style and color for the appropriate use, can often be very difficult, not to mention expensive.

If you create your own however, the cost is minimal and you can afford a different one for every occasion.

A reusable shopping tote helps you do your bit for the environment, and you'll look trendy while you’re doing it.

For those extra few things you couldn’t fit in your suitcase, or to bring home those extra few things you couldn’t resist buying while you were away, the tote pictured above, is ideal. A discount handbag that you’ve crocheted takes up very little space in your suitcase once it is folded up, and may be put to good use when you arrive at your destination.

A laptop bag as shown above, is extremely handy. Not only does it make transporting your computer more convenient, it also protects the outer case from the sun and from being bumped and scratched.

This fashion handbag pictured below is a very handy size for shopping and/or traveling.

This medium size clutch or tote design may be worked with or without the shoulder strap. There is also a matching coin purse. As well as the crochet daisy motif, this design may be monogrammed with your initial.

Beading makes a more elegant design that is also suitable for night wear. My drawstring patterns may be dressed up with a beaded edge, or by threading larger beads onto the ends of the drawstring, as shown on the drawstring tote below. If you decided to monogram them, beads or sequins can be added to the letters.

Other beaded designs include my handmade purse and pink flower purse.

The medium sized tote shown below has a multitude of uses from shower to storage.
