Embossing a baby name onto something beautiful you’ve created makes your gift personalized and therefore very special. For example, you can make your baby blanket personalized, with a monogram initial in one corner. This makes an attractive decoration and your gift is unique. Something you can’t just walk into a chain store and buy.
Another way to make a baby blanket personalized is by working an afghan rug in square or rectangular motifs and finishing it with a different monogram letter worked onto each motif. Alternatively you could spell the baby’s name down one side or diagonally across the blanket.
