Your crochet Christmas bell will require heavy starching. Use dry starch that you mix yourself. This is available from the supermarket or a craft store. After applying the starch, stretch the bell over a mould the correct size so they dry to shape. Check your cupboards before you rush out to purchase moulds. You can buy suitable moulds, however sometimes there are reasonable substitutes found around the home, like salt shakers or glasses.

Thread your length of ribbon through the loop at the top of the bell. If you would like a different effect, try using a twisted cord to hang the bell.

If you wish, the Xmas bells can be decorated with ribbon, lace, sequins or beads.

I also have free patterns for Christmas scarf, Santa napkin holder, Santa stocking, Christmas star, Christmas tree, and Christmas gift motif.
